Prolonged multimodal fasting modulates periodontal inflammation in female patients with metabolic syndrome: A prospective cohort study

Aim To determine the potential anti-inflammatory effect of a multimodal periodic fasting programme on surrogate parameters periodontal inflammation in hospitalized patients diagnosed for metabolic syndrome (MetS).
